Baking update!

Everyone needs to know that recently I've made:

• chocolate chip shortbread cookies (~12-16 cookies)
• raspberry hand pies (5-6 full sized, 12ish half-sized)
• apple hand pies (7ish fullsized)
• 2 pans of brownies (ok plus one i ruined because of Extenuating Circumstances)
• chocolate mousse
• orange cookies (unbaked so far but I've made... three batches of dough)
• pecan cookies (3 1/2 dozen of them! it was a Polish recipe my mom dug up that I think are like. based on shortbread)
• more pie dough that's currently chilling in the fridge

Things I need to make before Christmas:

• finish the orange cookies
• make the pie dough into at least one pie shell for quiche on Christmas morning, + either a second pie shell OR more hand pies
• more chocolate mousse
• more brownies
• more raspberry pie filling
• sugar cookies!!!
• shortbread cookies with andes candies and walnuts
• mmmmaybe some cheat puff pastry dough for Pastries??

Somewhat related to the brownies I ruined, has anyone listened to all of The Bright Sessions? I need some Very Specific spoilers to keep from being uhhh upset again. Also when I finish I'll need people to talk to lmao.

This reminded me that I promised my niece I would send her some Christmas fudge! Can't forget it or she'll send her elf-on-the-shelf after me or something. She said I had to since I gave her sister brownies so she got jealous. ...I didn't tell her that it was just a huge box of brownie mix that would last her a good long while. XD

December is the time of year everyone decides that Sugar Cookies are an appropriate breakfast food around here. I can't seem to convince anyone else in the neighborhood that this is unhealthy. I may have indulged once or twice just because. Peer pressure is horrible.

Gonna make a chocolate pudding pie, since your list is making me hungry!
